2023.06.02 10:33 teknixelevators20 10 Things to Consider Before Buying a Residential Lifts in Bangalore by Teknix Elevators

Introduction:
When it comes to installing an elevator, whether for residential or commercial purposes, several factors must be taken into consideration to ensure a safe and efficient vertical transportation system. In this article, we will discuss ten essential things to consider before buying an elevator, with valuable tips from Teknix Elevators, one of the leading elevator companies in India, specifically in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Safety Features:
Safety should be the foremost priority when choosing an elevator. Look for residential lifts in Bangalore that comply with international safety standards and regulations. Ensure that the elevator is equipped with features such as emergency stop buttons, interlocks, safety sensors, and fire-rated doors to protect passengers in the event of an emergency.
Space and Capacity:
Evaluate the available space in your building to determine the appropriate size and capacity of the elevator. Consider the number of passengers it needs to accommodate, as well as the size and weight of potential users, including those with disabilities. Teknix Elevators, known for manufacturing the best home elevators in Bangalore, offers customizable options to suit diverse requirements.
Energy Efficiency:
Choose an elevator that is energy-efficient to reduce your carbon footprint and operational costs. Look for elevators equipped with energy-saving technologies such as LED lighting, regenerative drives, and standby mode to conserve energy when not in use.
Maintenance and Service:
Consider the availability of maintenance and service support from the elevator company. Opt for companies like Teknix Elevators, which have a reputation for providing prompt and reliable after-sales service. Regular maintenance is crucial for the smooth operation and longevity of the elevator.
Customization Options:
If you have specific design requirements or preferences, look for elevator manufacturers in Bangalore, like Teknix Elevators, that offer customization options. This allows you to personalize the elevator's aesthetics, cabin finishes, and control panel to match your building's décor and style.
Noise and Vibration:
Elevators should operate smoothly and quietly to ensure a comfortable ride for passengers. Consider elevators that incorporate noise and vibration reduction technologies to minimize disturbances, especially in residential buildings.
Compliance with Accessibility Standards:
If you require an elevator for a building that needs to be accessible to people with disabilities, ensure that the elevator complies with accessibility standards such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or the National Building Code (NBC) of India. These standards govern features like cabin size, button placement, and handrail height.
Reliability and Durability:
Invest in an elevator that is reliable and built to last. Look for reputable elevator companies in Hyderabad and Bangalore known for their quality and durability. Check customer reviews and testimonials to gain insights into the reliability and longevity of their products.
Future Expansion:
Consider the potential need for future expansion or modernization. Choose an elevator system that allows for easy upgrades and integration of advanced technologies. This future-proofing approach ensures that your elevator can adapt to changing needs and technological advancements.
Budget and Cost:
Evaluate your budget and consider the long-term cost implications of owning and maintaining an elevator. While price is a factor, prioritize the overall value and quality of the elevator system rather than solely focusing on upfront costs. A reliable and well-maintained elevator will provide a better return on investment in the long run.
Conclusion:
When purchasing an elevator, it is crucial to carefully consider factors such as safety features, space and capacity, energy efficiency, maintenance and service, customization options, noise and vibration reduction, compliance with accessibility standards, reliability and durability, future expansion possibilities, and budget.

2023.06.02 09:14 iDigitize_Social The Power Of Competitive Analysis In The Insurance Industry

The Power Of Competitive Analysis In The Insurance Industry

https://preview.redd.it/xfgxp1xc1k3b1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=797266281fc52e2b64f0bede1070011b8215cb1a
The intricacy of the insurance sector has long been a deterrent to new entrants in the market, along with other entry-level obstacles. Essentially, this has shielded insurance firms from new types of competitors that offer seamless, customized services driven by customer needs.
Insurance companies have discovered that by combining first-party data with third-party insights, they can gain a better understanding of the risks to their operations and how to mitigate them without pricing themselves out of consideration. The combination of first-party data and third-party insights reduces risk and uncertainty, enabling effective resource allocation, fostering product innovation, boosting economic growth, and improving the efficient production of financial services. Therefore, competitive analysis plays a crucial role in the insurance industry.

Competitive analysis (CA) explained

Competitive analysis isolates each competitor’s operational strengths, substantive weaknesses, product offerings, market dominance, and missed opportunities with a focus on finding market participants poised to encroach on your chance.

The insurance industry outlook shows increased competition:

  • New rivals appear in all shapes and sizes, from major technology firms to small optical shops.
  • In order to adapt, well-established insurance firms must change their focus from a product to a service mindset.
  • Insurance companies need to prioritize the consumer experience and comprehend what clients want.
For a long time, established insurance providers are successfully adjusting to this new competitive environment by embracing the change from providing insurance as a product to providing insurance as a service that satisfies client requirements. Insurance companies must adopt a customer-first strategy in order to maintain and increase their market share. This strategy is frequently best served by an ecosystem of players both inside and outside the traditional limits of the insurance industry.
Here are some of the major goals of competitive analysis.
  • Find potential market disruptors
  • Understand competitors’ advantages
  • Your comparative advantage
  • Product and service opportunities
  • Market expansion opportunities in the space
  • More efficient supply chain and production processes
Now let us take a look at some examples related to competitive analysis.:
  • Product analysis: It can have a significant effect on what customers do next if your competitor releases a new product, enhances an old one, or removes one from the market. Such updates (as well as the kinds of activity that can result in them) are tracked in real-time using competitor tracking.
  • Campaign monitoring: A fresh marketing initiative can give businesses hoping to outsell rivals a sizable sales lift. Competitor monitoring can be used for things like getting notifications when campaigns go live, information on how and where the campaign is being spread, and insight into how customers are responding.
  • Social media monitoring: It can be very telling about a company’s brand strategy, attitude, and plans to see what and how it shares and interacts with customers online. The number of followers it has and the degree to which they interact with it can also disclose a lot about its popularity and the interests of your own target audience.
  • Price tracking: Price changes can have a significant impact on customer buying choices, particularly during a cost-of-living crisis. Price changes can be monitored in real-time using competitor monitoring.
  • Investment monitoring: A new era for the company, one that may have greater purchasing power, may begin if a rival gets investment. Likewise, it may indicate a shift in strategy if they are acquiring other companies or spending money on new technology or equipment. Benefits of competitive analysis in the insurance industry:

  • Respond faster to new market threats: Automated, real-time tracking lets you know as soon as a rival engages in action, giving you more time to address threats to your revenue. Real-time competitive intelligence gives you the ability to adapt and respond quickly to any of these situations, whether it be the introduction of a new product, the addition of new features to a current product, or a change in price.
  • Capitalize on new market opportunities: Insurance industry competitive analysis is more than just a means of defending your profits from competitors. Additionally, it can assist you in locating market gaps, weak spots, trends you can capitalize on, and, if a rival makes cuts, opportunities to gain more clients. You can develop a complete image of the market and identify potential growth areas by keeping an eye on a variety of sources, such as competitor announcements, industry news, and social media sentiment.
  • Become the best-informed business in your market: The strongest companies are those that possess the most, even if they aren’t quite at the point where they are using it to control the market. Every company, including your rivals, will monitor the markets and competitors in some way. However, the right strategy, tool, and procedures can give you more insight than any other company, giving you a significant competitive edge.
  • Build a stronger strategy and product roadmap: These same departments can review, better, and further develop their strategies and roadmaps using the intelligence that is provided to them in addition to keeping them informed. That could be how you handle accounts, create products, handle sales, promote your business, or even set the direction for the company’s main strategy. The proper method can translate the appropriate intelligence into actions that enhance performance.
  • Benchmark your position and progress: It can be challenging to determine where you and your offerings stand in the market in comparison to your rivals and their offerings outside of company-level posted figures. Comparing and contrasting your product with those of your rivals using a range of metrics is one of the most common applications of competitive intelligence. Together they’ll provide you with a full picture of your place in the market.
  • Predict what competitors do next: Competitive monitoring involves more than just responding to breaking news. To spot trends and opportunities, it may be necessary to create a picture of the market over an extended period. A great way to have comparable data to learn from is to choose the most crucial metrics to monitor early on. Before you create your strategies, it might assist you in regaining your concentration and setting priorities.

Challenges of analytics implementation:

Most insurers can readily comprehend the benefits of being able to use the copious amounts of data that are at their disposal. However, adoption still faces obstacles. Many of these companies, it could be claimed, are decades or even hundreds of years old, and the accumulation of legacy systems – a common complaint of organizations from many different sectors – hinders the seamless integration of data from an expanding and never-ending set of sources.
However, given the importance of data to their operations, insurers are frequently the commercial entities working on data that are best at adapting to the times. Additionally, there is no one method to automate the analysis of this data and the effects it may have on the organization. Secondly, it takes highly skilled data scientists who are equally adept at the art and science of data to conduct the analytics that have the greatest impact on the business’ many disparate strategic needs and outcomes. These are hard to come by.

What the future holds

Insurance companies can evaluate and incorporate changes into their company plans. Not only are there new channels and devices to take into account, but data is entering the company in formats that are constantly changing. Considering the Internet of Things (IoT), as an illustration one of the components of IoT that can collect data on everything from diet and living conditions to pulse and blood pressure is wearable technology. For underwriters, data and analytics will always be essential, and they benefit from data with above-average quality. Technology handling of this data is expected to increase, and consolidation is anticipated.
Netscribes helps firms meet these goals through in-depth market research. To know how we can help you harness the power of consumer insights in your industry niche, contact us today.

Safety:

These Telescoping extension ladders offer a robust and stable platform for working at heights when used correctly. When operating on terrain with uneven surfaces, they reduce the risk of falls and accidents.

Attaining Height:

Industrial-grade extension ladders are used to reach high shelves, arching ceilings, and rooftops. As a result, they make jobs simpler that could otherwise be difficult or difficult to do.

Versatility:

Because multipurpose Heavy duty extension ladders are available in a broad variety of sizes and styles, we may use them for a wide range of tasks. For instance, extension ladders can be used outside to reach high places, while step ladders are the best choice for internal use.

Efficiency:

Telescopic Ladder was invented to make work easier and increase productivity. These compact, lightweight, multi-use Extension ladders with locking mechanisms speed up processes and enable access to otherwise inaccessible locations.

Lightweight:

These Industrial-grade extension ladders are lightweight and small in size, making it easy for us to transport them from one place to another.

Cost-effectiveness:

When compared to other access equipment like scaffolding and aerial lifts, collapsible ladders are incredibly affordable. As a result, they offer a suitable replacement for the vast majority of applications. Telescopic ladder prices can start at a range of INR 3000 and above, depending on the height and the accessories.

Which multi-purpose Adjustable extension ladder is the best for your needs?

Telescopic ladders and industrial ladder accessories are useful and adaptable, but it's crucial to pick the proper one for your particular needs. Given the variety of choices, it could be challenging to select the ideal telescopic ladder that meets all of your unique needs and preferences. We would like to give you some guidelines to assist you in selecting the best Extension ladder for commercial applications.

Height:

An industrial-grade extension ladder can extend from a few meters to over 20 meters in height. Choose a multi-purpose collapsible extension ladder that can therefore stretch to the required height. You can choose a telescopic foldable ladder with an adjustable height once you've determined the highest height you need to reach.

Weight Capacity:

You should also take the collapsible ladder's weight capacity into account to make sure it can securely handle both your weight and the number of objects you are carrying. Having too much weight on one's person increases the risk of accidents and injury. As a result, bear this in mind while selecting a multi-purpose portable industrial ladder.

Material:

Industrial-grade extension ladders can be made from a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and fiberglass. The degree to which the suitable material can matter will depend on the user's planned use and the range of storage options. It is important to pay close attention to the material that best meets all requirements.

Portability:

Due to its versatility, the telescopic folding ladder can be utilized both indoors and outside. Here, a telescopic ladder's portability—one of its main advantages—comes into play. A lightweight portable multi-purpose Industrial-grade extension ladder is simple to transport over long distances.

Safety equipment:

Whether a ladder is telescopic or not, safety should always come first. A simple disregard for safety could have negative consequences for the user. So it's a good idea to search for telescopic Ladders with safety features like locking mechanisms, non-slip rungs, and fixed feet.

HOW TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AND THE LONGEVITY OF EXTENSION LADDERS:

Pick the Right Ladder:

It's important to pick the right High-capacity extension ladder for the job at hand. Think about things like weight capacity, material structure, and industrial-grade extension ladder height. Compared to regular ladders, an industrial-grade telescopic ladder is built to support big loads and provide more stability.

Inspect before use:

Before each use, check the collapsible ladder for the home for any signs of damage, like twisted rungs, broken rails, or loose connections. Verify the functionality of all parts, including the locks, hinges, and ropes. Never use a telescopic ladder that has been compromised structurally.

Placing it Carefully:

Place the Industrial-grade extension ladder on a solid, level surface and secure the base. Use stabilizers or telescopic ladder levelers as necessary to guarantee stability. By using the right foot pads or anchor points, you can secure the ladder's base. If you're working on uneven or slippery areas, think about using a telescopic ladder stability device.

Set the Right Angle:

Place the Portable Ladder at a 75-degree angle for maximum stability. This entails setting the Industrial-grade extension ladder's base one-quarter of the working length from the wall or other support structure.

User Biomechanics:

Apply the 3-Point Contact Rule by keeping two feet and one hand, or one foot and two hands, in constant contact with the Telescopic Ladder while maintaining a strong grasp with both hands. This method offers stability and lowers the chance of falling.

Extend the Telescopic Ladder Correctly:

Adhere to the manufacturer's recommendations when extending an Industrial-grade extension ladder. Before climbing, make sure the locks are securely in place. To extend the ladder smoothly and safely, use the rope and pulley system, if it is there.

Avoid Overreaching:

Never stretch yourself too far while using a telescopic ladder because doing so compromises stability and ups the chance of falling. Rather, adjust the ladder as necessary to preserve the correct 3-point contact and keep your body centered between the rails of the aluminum ladder.

Secure the Top and Bottom:

Use fixed attachments like hooks or ropes to tie the top of the Industrial-grade extension ladder to the supporting structure to increase stability. Additionally, if at all possible, employ appropriate bracing to stop any movement by stabilizing the Telescopic Ladder's base with a coworker or by yourself.

Consider the Weight Capacity:

Industrial-grade extension ladders have ratings for their weight capacities. Before using the telescopic Ladder, consider the worker's total weight along with the weight of their tools and equipment. The integrity of the ladder may be harmed and accidents may result from exceeding the weight restriction.

Keep Your Balance and Posture Correct:

When ascending or descending the Industrial-grade extension ladder or working from it, keep your balance and posture correct. Avoid leaning or leaning too far to one side with your body centered. Be sure to step slowly and deliberately, and distribute your weight evenly.

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

To safeguard yourself from potential risks when working on an Industrial-grade extension ladder, put on the proper PPE, such as non-slip boots, a hard hat, eye protection, and gloves.
Ensure that all employees who use industrial-grade Telescopic Ladder are properly trained in ladder safety procedures and are informed of the most recent best practices. Hold regular safety meetings and periodically update training.

2023.06.02 07:49 JJW2795 Land of the North Wind: Chapter 8

Yay, new chapter is (finally) out! Only took a damn month. Why must May be so busy? At least I've managed to get chapter 9 mostly done as well, so that will be locked and loaded soon. Then I'm hoping to pick up the pace a bit.
Anyways, in this chapter both the snow wolves and Tostig plan their next moves, and the decisions made will affect the Ulstads.
As always, this story can be read up to the current chapter in both fanfiction and AO3 if you'd prefer those sites to reading all the text on reddit.
Fanfiction: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14198757/8/Land-of-the-North-Wind
AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/45067345/chapters/119955676
Banishment
Tostig looked out at this city under siege. Part of him felt for his people, but at the same time they could not be allowed to bow to wolves. He would not bow to wolves and their demands. They were lesser, and they were rivals who were only useful for labor and trade in times of peace. And yet, the situation they were in now was not sustainable and everyone knew it. Just then, the door to his chamber was opened and his lead counselor, his right hand, stepped into the room.
“You wished to see me, my lord?”
Tostig took a sip from his wine chalice before turning away from his window and walking over to his desk with slow, deliberate steps. Upon locking eyes with his trusted advisor, the lord gave a small smile.
“Yes. I was hoping you’d have an inventory of our supplies ready to discuss.”
The counselor stepped forward, producing a stack of documents that had been written up by scribes. “Of course, my lord. Here are the inventory lists on the items you requested. Firewood, coal, wine, ale, spirits, bread, and meat are all right here.”
The counselor then placed the lists in his lord’s outstretched hands.
Tostig then got to the point of their meeting, “but all of these lists are to answer a single question. Do we have enough supplies to make it until spring?”
His counselor lowered his head and shook it slowly, “No sir. We’ll be out two months before the first ships can make safe harbor at the coast.”
Tostig sighed. “Then it’ll have to be done.”
“Are you sure, my Lord?”
“What choice do I have? We tried leaving, we tried getting necessary supplies, and even rations won’t carry us through the entire winter.”
“Those poor souls…”
“The keidran, overall, are tough beasts. And if you ask me, some of them played a hand in this whole mess, I just know it.”
“In what way could they be responsible, sir?” The counselor asked, confused.
“You really think every keidran in this town wants to be serving humans in some way or another? Their brethren are outside the walls, likely promising them a place of refuge for themselves and their slave relatives back east if they help the snow wolves kick us out.”
“That seems unlikely, my Lord.”
“Even if I’m wrong about their loyalties, the fact is keidran are more disposable than men. I can do without all these extra servants and menial laborers, but I’m going to need my miners and loggers when the snow clears, and the crown sends the best troops in Mekkan to our aid.”
“Your will is my command, sir. I’ll have Gerrick gather all his guardsmen in the great hall this evening. We’ll need every able-bodied member of the garrison.”
“Very good. Also, please send for the healer. These headaches… that medicine hasn’t been working.”
“Of course, my lord. Right away.”
The sun was setting on another day of the town under siege. The wolves had not made any moves to attack the walls, but why would they? They controlled the land and sea for hundreds of miles in every direction. A counsel of the elders was called in the camp overlooking the settlement. In the middle of the camp was a large, portable lodge made from thick timbers cut in the Snowy Pines. The frame was bound tightly by many hides, proving insulation and blocking the fierce winds that would often sweep across the tundra. Normally, settlements were permanent, but some wolves that had ventured into human territory took notes on how their rivals conducted war, and moveable houses were the answer to navigating across harsh country that was so brutal even the ever-adaptable humans had yet to conquer.
Outside the lodge entrance waited a tall, young snow wolf. Icy-white hair was bound tightly into a knot under a hat of seal fur. Extra layers of fur helped to protect the wolf from the elements, as even in winter the temperatures were colder than any canine could safely withstand. Blue eyes pierced through the growing darkness, a slight glow from his mana crystal necklace giving his face some soft illumination. He was waiting, watching for someone. Others came into the lodge one and two at a time. After a while, the young wolf was beginning to worry. “Where could he be?” The thought.
Just then a lone figure hobbled into view. A snow wolf much like him seemed to materialize out of the blowing snow that cut the visibility down significantly. Now only the glow of Callow could be seen in the distance. The old wolf, walking with a cane, finally found his way to the entrance.
“Grandfather, I was getting worried about you. You know I could help you up the hill, right?”
“Oh, don’t trouble yourself Bjorn. I might be almost as old as the wood holding that lodge together, but I can still find my way around camp. Now, let’s get inside, shall we?”
“Of course grandpa…” Bjorn then held the entrance to the lodge open so his frail kin could make his way inside where it was warm.
Following his grandfather inside, Bjorn was hit immediately with the warmth of a fire, fueled by wood brought in from the forest by sled, most of it cut down courtesy of the logging teams they had chased out a month earlier. The glow from his mana crystals was quickly overtaken by the bright, orange light of the fire. The young wolf removed most of his outer garments, placing them on the ground to use as a seat. He sat down behind where his grandfather had made himself comfortable. As an elder, the old wolf held one of the seats in the clans moot, the council of elders that had assembled to deal with the human problem.
All inside the lodge waited silently as their shaman conjured magical light structures from her crystal necklace in a ceremony to purify the air. The lights were dazzling. Bjorn’s favorite was seeing a replication of the night sky, a spell which was meticulously maintained through the generations showing each visible star as well as the moon. Another spell finished the ceremony, seemingly purging the air from the lodge, the fire reducing to embers, only to roar back to life as new, fresh air came in to fill the vacuum. It was then that the shaman gave a special blessing and prayer to each of the council members before taking her seat in the back as an observer. The five wolves then allowed for a silent pause to pass over all in attendance before beginning.
The designated leader of the council, tasked with mediating the clans moot, broke the silence, “my friends, our actions this winter may ensure the survival of our people and way of life, but one misstep and we will surely suffer greatly for our actions against the humans.”
A graying elder from the clan west of Widow Lake then saw fit to add in his thoughts. “Indeed, Bragi, but I believe our actions so far have been successful. The humans and their keidran servants have been completely cut off from their homeland and their king. No one will be able to help them until the snow leaves.”
Frey, the elder representing the clan at the split between the Widow and Pines rivers then spoke, “My warriors were successful in destroying any attempts by the humans to reach the sea. I’ve seen some of the bodies from their first attempt, and I believe that many of their most capable are dead. We ought to press an attack while we still have an advantage in the snow.”
Garth, Bjorn’s grandfather, and widely held to be one of the wisest elders in the North, urged caution. “It is true, Frey, that your warriors have slain many humans who could defend the walls, but many more are still inside. We’ve all seen the patrols along the top of the wall. Besides that, your warriors let one boat get away in the humans’ first attempt to summon help, didn’t they?”
Frey was forced to admit the mistake. “You are right, Garth, one did manage to slip away in the night. My warriors say they followed a light they thought was a lantern from the boat, but it was something else. It was alive, but they could not get a good look at it, and the light they followed led them into a sand bank. But a large storm hit shortly after. Surely, none survived.”
Garth had a different thought. “I would not so easily discredit these humans. Sure, they lack our fur, but they are adaptable creatures. I’ve seen with my own eyes the mines they’ve built. If they can bring the heart of Mekkan to the surface, their best may be able to survive winter.”
Bragi, always one to listen to a wolf with so much experience, wanted to know how this would affect their plans. “Garth, do you think the humans would bring reinforcements?”
“Assuming they survived, it could happen.”
Frey wasn’t as convinced. “Even if that one crew did manage to make it to the coast, it would still be months before the humans could bring an army to our shores. But that is all the more reason to find a way into the city.”
The last wolf in the council had been silent up until then. He was the youngest, though his offspring were still well into adulthood. He had earned a reputation as one of the best strategists among the snow wolves, having to regularly repel attempts by the forest wolves to gain more territory along the southern border. “An attack on the walls would be a failure. One does not kill a bear by fighting it on its terms. To kill a bear, one must outsmart it, and force the creature to fight in a way it is not used to.”
“So we should do nothing then?” Frey surmised, but the younger wolf shook his head.
“No, the wall is a bear. If we simply run up to it, our warriors will all die. But if we can find a weakness or fight the humans in a way they are not used to, then we will have the advantage.”
Garth then added is trademark advice of caution. “Though we must be patient, my friends. There will be an opportunity before spring arrives. As the weather gets colder and the snow gets deeper, our advantages will grow.”
Bragi then came to a possible plan of action. “I know Tostig. Once desperate enough, he will want an open battle where his trained guards can win, even in the snow. It would be too great of a risk to meet him in such a battle, but we could bait him to it.”
The wolf from Widow Lake then had an idea of his own. “My warriors could conduct raids on the humans’ stashes of firewood and supplies. There are some close enough to the walls that they can be reached. Once the humans start getting cold, they will be forced to either submit or do battle.”
Bragi nodded in agreement. “Do we have a plan then?”
All nodded and prepared to cast their vote when a shout from outside the lodge alerted the gathered snow wolves. A guard rushed in to deliver the news. The Shaman stood up upon this intrusion. “A clans moot is a sacred gathering, outsiders are not permitted unless invited. Child, why have you trespassed?”
The guard was gasping for air after running for a couple of miles to the main camp. “Apologies… humans… outside the wall.”
Perhaps the battle was coming after all? Bragi then stood. “Garth, have your grandson take your best warriors to trap these humans. This may be the beginning of the very battle Tostig would try to arrange.”
Garth then looked behind him at his nephew and nodded. “Go, Bjorn, I’ll find my way back. Be safe.”
Garth bowed his head slightly in respect of the others. “Thank you all for permitting me to the clans moot. I will track down and subdue these humans before they can cause trouble.”
With a wave of Bragi’s hand, Garth then exited the lodge with the guard and ran toward the main camp to find as many warriors as he could at a moment’s notice.
The Ulstads were preparing a dinner of rations in the empty tavern when a knock came from the front door. Anna Marie, who was closest, stopped sweeping to open the door. She was surprised by the evening visitor. “Sam, whatchya doin’ here at such an hour? We’re ya joinin’ fer dinner?”
Sam didn’t answer as he came into the foyer, but the look on his face told everyone that something was wrong. Liz stood up and quickly made her way to Sam, with Shadow and Asher close behind. Ivan leaned his head out from the kitchen. Liz took Sam’s hand in hers and looked him in the eyes. “Sam, what is it? News from Connor?”
Sam just shook his head. “I’m sorry Liz, I wish it was.”
Shadow then asked in a more direct voice. “Then what is it? You look pale.”
“It’s Tostig. He’s… well, he’s given the guard an order.”
“Come on, Sam, out with it?” Shadow said, worry seeping into her words. Sam took a deep breath to collect himself. They needed to know.
“Tostig has ordered every non-human in Callow… he’s banished them from the town.”
A thick, baritone voice boomed from the kitchen. “What?” A look of horror came across Asher’s face. Shadow too was shocked.
“Like Ivan said, ‘what?’” The leopard could hardly believe what she had heard.
“Liz, Miss Marie, you are both allowed to stay. But guards are going door to door right now and rounding up all the keidran. Shadow and Asher, you had better collect what you can before they arrive. I’ll escort you both personally so that neither of you have a hand laid on you.”
Anna wouldn’t have it. “They’s just as much people as us, Sam. Shadow, you and the boy should hide in the cellar. Ivan, get the darn hammer.”
“No Anna.” Shadow replied, letting it sink in. “We can’t just hide in the tavern all winter. Besides, what happens when you get caught?”
Sam had the unfortunate answer to that one. “Tostig has also ordered that anyone caught hiding keidran will be burned at the stake.”
That caused Anna and Liz to recoil at the thought of their own fate. It was more than enough for Shadow to make up her mind. “Come on Asher, we had better put on whatever clothes we can before— “just then, another knock came from the door, this one far more stern than before.
“Shit, they’re here already. I thought there’d be more time. Shadow, you can Asher meet Ivan in the back, I’ll get you three to the eastern gate.” Sam said before going to answer the door with Anna Marie. Asher didn’t quite understand all that was happening. He knew human well enough now, but things were progressing quickly for a seven-year-old. But Shadow quickly grabbed his hand and led them both into the room with Liz close behind. Once inside the room, Liz, locked the door to buy them at least a few more seconds.
Shadow, having been trained by assassins in the guild, wasn’t terribly concerned for herself. But being forced to leave Liz? She hoped that Anna Marie would keep the girl safe. Asher though was in trouble if they were being forced into the tundra. Her first thought then was to make sure the boy had as many warm clothes on as she could find.
“Here Asher, put this on, quickly.”
“I don’t want to leave, Shadow!”
“I don’t either, but we don’t have a choice. Sooner or later we’d be caught and thrown outside the walls anyway. Now bundle up as best you can be—”
Loud knocking came from the bedroom wall. “We know there are keidran in here! Open the door and come with us.”
Liz went up to the door to buy as much time as she could. “Just a minute!”
“Open it now woman!” Was the reply, but that was closely followed by Sam’s voice. “Hey, I’m highest rank here and I happen to know the two you’re after. Let me handle this and you two should continue down the stre—”
“Not a chance Sam, we’ve got orders from your father.”
“Then at least go get Ivan. Shadow and Asher aren’t going to put up a fight.”
Two more guards could be heard struggling to push the big wolf out into the street, and the intensity of the struggle caused the two guards standing near the room door to reconsider pushing their luck with someone who outranks them.
“Very well, they’ve got two minutes. If they aren’t out by then, we’re going to break the door down.”
Sam then moved to the side to let the two guards pass by.
Liz’s muffled voice came from behind the door “Are they gone?”
“Yeah, for the moment.”
A minute later, the door’s latch was undone, and it creaked open. Shadow and Asher had their wool jumpers on, along with whatever clothes they could find. Shadow was even wearing a pair of Connor’s pants. They were a bit tight but provided some extra insulation. Liz then followed the two, closing the door behind them.
“Why is this happening, Sam?” Liz asked.
“Apparently, we don’t have enough supplies to last the winter. So either everyone starves…”
“…Or the keidran freeze to death.” Shadow finished for Sam.
“Basically, yes. But you don’t have to freeze to death, there’s shelter that you can use, as well as food stores.”
“Where?” Shadow interrogated. Asher’s life as well as her own was on the line.”
“You’ll have to slip passed the wolves, but there are food stores and shelters in the new mining district across the river. It’s on the other side of Ditter’s Ridge.”
“Wolves?!” Shadow exclaimed. “How am I and the kid going to slip passed an army of wolves? They’d see us miles away!”
“I don’t know. I suggest hiding until the wind kicks up, the blowing snow will provide you with cover.”
The three stressed faces, Shadow’s looking like she was ready to murder, all stared at Sam.
“Look, this is a bad situation. I wish there was more I could do, but there isn’t. Tostig is Jarl, and his word is the law. If he says you must go, then you must go. If you try to stay, he could have us all executed.”
“Would your father allow that?”
“Tostig would execute my father too if that’s what it took to keep order in this town. I’m sorry, I really am, but—”
“But you’re doing whatever you can…” Liz grabbed and held Sam’s hand. “Is there a path or a tunnel or something that they can use to get around the wolves?”
“No, there isn’t. Look, you’ll have to move as quickly as you can. I’ll send help as soon as I’m able to, but right now this is your best chance of surviving.”
“Fine…” Shadow said, defeated and out of options. “Come on Asher, we had better go.”
The boy had other ideas “I don’t want to leave Liz! I want to wait here for Connor!”
“Connor…” Shadow thought. She tried to put it past her mind, but Liz knelt down in front of the boy.
“Asher, Connor isn’t coming back.” She said, tears forming in her eyes. “It’s been a month, and as much as I wish he’d bust into the tavern right now like he did with both of you back in the spring, it’s not going to happen. You need to leave with Shadow, she’ll keep you safe.”
“What about you?” Asher said, sniffling.
“I’ve got Anna Marie and Sam here to help. But you can’t stay here or Tostig would—”
“Kill us…” Asher said.
“I know we aren’t the closest, but Connor called you his brother, so I do too. Go, while you still can.” She then stood up. Before she could say anything else, Shadow embraced the girl.
“I’m sorry that I won’t be there to keep you safe.” Shadow said.
“It’s okay. But if you two stick together, we’ll all look back at this like a bad memory.”
“One of many bad memories.”
Sam knew time was up. “We better leave before those two assholes return. I’ll show you out a side entrance.”
Shadow and Liz let go of each other, and Shadow grabbed Asher’s hand before they both fled into the back alley behind Sam. The winding pathways between buildings eventually led them to a small door near the east gate. Shadow could see around the side of a building all the keidran being pushed out through the main gate. After looking around to make sure no one was watching, Sam produced a key, which began to glow as he recited an incantation. A hidden door nested into the wall glowed around the seal before opening, revealing a short tunnel to the outside.
“It’s one of the many emergency doorways out of the town. Only the guards have access, and most don’t know about them.”
Shadow, though impressed by the trickery, was hardly thrilled to be forced out of the walls. “If Connor ever comes back…”
“I hope he does, but for right now, you’re better off outside than inside.” Sam finished for Shadow, gesturing outside the wall.”
“Make sure nothing happens to Liz. Or I’ll find my way back,” Shadow lifted Sam off his feet and pinned him to the wall, “and burn this town to the ground with you in it.”
“I’ll protect her with my life if I must. You have my word. Now please, get out of here before someone sees me helping you.”
Shadow dropped Sam back to his feet, took Asher’s hand, and ducked through the hole in the wall. Once through, Sam closed the magic door with his key before slipping through an alley and joining the rest of the guards. Young ones were crying, old ones were being forcefully pushed, and at least one who tried to resist was savagely beaten. The guard was there to maintain order no matter the cost. After several minutes and much effort, the last keidran was shoved past the threshold. As the iron gate lowered from the ceiling, a couple of keidran made an attempt to get back into the town. But just as they were about to get through the inner gate, out of the crowd came several guards with crossbows. Without hesitation, their lieutenant gave the order to fire. In front of both humans and keidran, all those who tried to get through were cut down and left to die in the zwinger between the two gates. Their intentions made clear, the remaining keidran quickly fled from the walls just as guards took their positions along the walkway at the top.
Shadow couldn’t see what happened, but she could certainly hear it. Keeping Asher close, she used her skills at stealth to skirt along the bottom of the wall undetected. Asher at one point tried to say something but she quickly hushed him before continuing. Finding and avenue out in a blind spot from the guards, Shadow quickly moved past the ground torches could illuminate, finding safety in the darkness. Luckily, it was a clear night and Shadow could easily make out where the keidran had stopped. They looked to be in the process of scattering as keidran tended to do. They weren’t a clan or a tribe, instead they were in groups of individuals who knew each other. Shadow a year ago would have left them all to their fate, content to find the shelter she was informed of and waiting until spring. But now… now she could see scared children, elderly who wouldn’t make it two days in the winter snow, and many who were scared and confused, all in need of help.
“What are we going to do?” Asher asked, clutching onto her leg and looking up to her for guidance. He too was quite scared.
Shadow sighed, collecting herself. “We’re going to help them, Asher, and we’re going to survive.”
Just as the keidran were about to venture off in every direction imaginable, Shadow climbed up onto a rock and, illuminated by the moon, called for everyone’s attention. No one really seemed to care, at least until a loud, baritone voice cut through the air. Shadow looked to her side only to find a beaten and bloody Ivan standing near the rock, apparently having seen the pair in the cold. At once, everyone looked back toward the three figures next to and on top of the large glacial boulder.
“Good. Now everyone listen up! I’ve been told that there are stores of food and supplies as well as shelter across the river to the East. If we move now, we can be there by dawn, but we have to stick together, or we’ll all die.”
While some seemed ready to go, others weren’t sure. Arguing began between different individuals. Some wanted to make for the Snowy Pines, mostly the wolves. A few wanted to try and get over the mountain pass and into warmer country. Still others were talking about forcing their way back into Callow. None were, realistically, good options. But before consensus could be reached, or a complete breakdown in the large group of at least four hundred keidran, snow wolves approached from all sides, weapons at the ready. Out from the darkness emerged a big wolf, nearly as big as Ivan, wearing polar bear fur and brandishing a long spear.
Keidran tried to run but were quickly cut off. The group of exiles was completely encircled by several hundred strong warriors from the different clans. Bjorn then noticed something odd in the moonlight. Between all the people that they captured, only a handful had anything more than a knife. Certainly no weapons of war, and plenty were half-naked and freezing.
“Where are your weapons?”
“What do you mean?” A tigress asked. “We have none.”
“Then what is this? Are you all trying to run away or something? You’ll freeze out here.” Bjorn bellowed. A young child then pushed his way to the front. It was Asher, the only basitin in the group. “W-we were kicked out, sir.”
“Kicked out?”
Ivan and Shadow came out from the crowd, quickly finding Asher. Shadow grabbed the boy and held onto him tight in case things went south. Ivan tried to reason with Bjorn, who was a bit intimidated by the wolf that was bigger than even him.
“Da. Jarl Tostig pushed us into the snow.”
“Explain.” Bjorn said, spear tip not lowering even slightly.
“What the big guy is trying to say is that Tostig found out there wasn’t enough supplies for everyone to last the winter, so he decided to get rid of every keidran in Callow. We’re exiles.”
This shocked Bjorn. He didn’t think anyone, not even a human, would do something so cutthroat. “Well, if you were hoping for our help, I’m sorry. But we don’t have supplies for everyone here. I can talk to my grandfather and perhaps the council will—”
“There are supplies across the river, if you’d let us go to Ditter’s Ridge we’ll stay out of the way of your siege. We certainly aren’t going to help Tostig after this.
“The big hill near Widow Lake? I thought that was just a bunch of mines.”
“It is, but apparently there are stores of supplies and shelter there.”
Ditter’s Ridge was still technically snow wolf lands, and the recent mining activity was part of why this whole situation was happening now. But these weren’t humans, clearly weren’t loyal to Tostig, and had no means to defending themselves anyway. After taking in the sight, he knew that they were speaking the truth, and that many wouldn’t make it more than a few days even in thick winter fur.
“Alright. We have no quarrel with you. I and a few others will lead you across the river. There’s a ford at Ridge Gate that’s shallow enough you all can cross without getting wet above the knees. We had better hurry though; another storm is coming.”
Shadow then walked up to Bjorn, noting that she was barely taller than his shoulder. “Thank you.” She said gratefully, extending a hand.
Bjorn looked down and felt his heart skip a beat. In a land of ice and snow, before him was a black-furred leopard, a keidran he had never seen before. He immediately reached out to shake her hand. “I am happy to help. Now, we had better get a move on.”
“Lead the way...” Shadow gestured as she grabbed Asher once again and made sure he walked closely beside her through the snow.
It was tough walking through the drifts. At one point, Shadow broke through a layer of hard snow into soft powder below. She sank up to her chest and was struggling to get out when a pair of snow shoes appeared in front of her. Looking up, she saw Bjorn extending his hand. In one swift motion, he lifted the leopard clean out of the snow and onto his snow shoes.
“Thank you.” Shadow said, stunned at how easy it was for the wolf.
“It was nothing.” He said, smile on his face.
In the early hours of dawn, the group of keidran spotted the Ridge Gate, a pair of towering bluffs the river cut through in order to make it to the sea. Soon, Shadow and Asher were some of the first to reach the shore of the river. Shadow picked up Asher and held him as she tried to cross, but the icy water stung on her skin. Bjorn then offered his help once again.
“Please, allow me.” He said as he picked Asher up and placed the boy on his shoulders. Before Shadow could continue into the river, he picked her up as well and held her under her back and knees.
“Oh... my…” Shadow said, looking up at Bjorn. “You really don’t have to.”
“I assume you aren’t from around these parts, considering the black fur.”
“No, I’m not.”
“Well, the river water is cold enough that you really don’t want to get wet if you can help it. So hold on tight, I’ll walk you across.”
It took a few minutes, but Shadow and Asher found themselves on dry ground. Without a word, Bjorn turned around and waded across the river again. It felt… odd… to be carried like that. But apparently the snow wolves were doing this for many of the keidran, especially the children. It took close to a half an hour before everyone was across, but by then it was a simple matter of climbing the ridge. At the top, Shadow and Asher felt the first rays of sun peaking above the horizon. It would fill the valley below for only a couple of hours before setting again.
“We’re getting close to the equinox.” Bjorn explained. “The sun will only break the horizon for an hour then, and it will get really cold.”
“Thank you again.” Shadow replied. “But I didn’t catch your name.”
“It’s Bjorn, ma’am.”
“Well, thank you Bjorn. I am Shadow and this here is Asher.”
“Glad to know you, Shadow. Now, where are these supplies you were talking about?”
“I’m guessing they are down there.” Shadow said as she pointed at what looked to be an abandoned mining camp. Once at the bottom of the ridge, the state of the camp was sad. Tents were blown down by the wind, a couple of the makeshift shacks were caved in from the heavy snow. But one large structure was locked up tight. Busting in the door with a log for a battering ram, the keidran found the first of many supplies. While the food was mostly for humans, and thus was a lot of flour and coffee, there was plenty of dried and salted meats. It wouldn’t be much, but with some careful rationing they’d all be able to make it through the winter.

2023.06.02 06:53 Bebop_268170 Opinions on a Couple Resort Options for Club Trip

I run a decently large (30-40 people) trip for a Maryland-based ski club to Killington for a long weekend in January every year -- this season was 12th trip. Prices at Killington have exploded way past the rate of general inflation since the start of the pandemic (2020 trip price for lodging + lifts: $435pp; 2023 trip price: $635pp) and it's hurting attendance such that I have to start seriously considering alternative resorts for the 2024 season. Coming from Maryland some of the obvious options further north like Jay, Stowe, or Sugarbush are no-go due to the drive time -- Killington is right on the limit of what folks are willing to do for a 3-day weekend trip. Mt. Snow is also off the table as our club just relocated an annual midweek trip we'd been doing there for 30+ years to Smuggs after a series of bad experiences with the local Vail group sales and our go-to mom-and-pop lodging being bought out. There's Okemo I guess but my stance is that you might as well go to K at that point if you're driving from that far (we also have a lot of people in the membership base that are Ikon rather than Epic people).
Given the above, I'm getting quotes for K for next year but also getting proposals from Holiday Valley and Stratton (I looked into Gore as well but size of group makes it not tenable due to limitations of lodging in area). HV is obviously barely there in terms of terrain compared to K, but this trip also tends to attract a lot of newbies and casuals who aren't ripping the mountain open-to-close anyway, the town/village set up is good, it's 2+ hours closer, and our quoted price point is ~33% lower than K. Stratton is somewhere in between the two and pending final quotes is probably ~10% cheaper and is 45 minutes closer than K. I've never been to either resort personally so am limited in judgment to Internet research and would be interested in what others have to say.

2023.06.02 06:04 jlinbu The case for [Wildcat's Revenge] as an elite RMC

I want to start with a disclaimer that Wildcat's Revenge is NOT somehow definitely better than your favorite RMC. The three RMC hypers have clearly earned their place in the discussion for "the best" and will likely retain their spot in many of your rankings. I have only ridden Iron Gwazi of the big three but what WR is able to pull off with only 140 feet of height, a mere 62 MPH and 3500 feet of track is unreal. It is not as brutally fast or intense as Gwazi and doesn't have that elite signature element like the death roll. Somehow though, after 13 rides on Wildcat's Revenge, I found myself increasingly wanting to rank it higher than Gwazi. On my final night ride in seat 15, it narrowly earned my personal #2 spot formerly occupied by Gwazi. I am keeping an open mind since I need to get a Gwazi night ride.
First, my spoiler free review:
WR is very well paced. There really is no downtime on this coaster but I also understand that applies to a lot of RMCs. On paper, WR doesn't seem like anything special in the height category. Ultimately, WR feels like exactly what it is: the result of years of RMC iterating on and perfecting elements and stringing together a highlights reel of the best examples of classic RMC wave turns, off axis hills, double downs and whippy inversions but incorporating new and different forces into them. I'll get into the nuts and bolts in the spoiler section. As a result of this not being a super intense "stat monster", this is a very re-rideable coaster. Today was a brutal, humid 90 degrees in full sun but I watched all ages, kids clearly younger than 10 and even a lady who appeared to be in her 70s get ride after ride after ride and very few were leaving for breaks. WR isn't trying to be the best at anything and as a result element after element just string together so well.
Another unexpected thing about WR is just how much the ride varies row to row and even left to right. It feels like each row has "its element" and a simple back or front seat ride is not enough to really experience everything this ride has to offer. While I haven't gotten 24 rides to experience every seat, I was easily 10 rides in and still being wowed by the extra "pop" or "whip" certain elements had in certain rows. I really got the impression that the profiling of each element was specifically designed to add more violent air or whip to a different cars and really give every rider at least one elite element. If you get an opportunity to ride more than once, please do yourself a favor and try multiple rows. If you only have time for one ride, I recommend seat 15 as you get a nice mix of violent ejector, strong whip, hang time, and laterals.
--Spoilers--
Prelift: The prelift is quite good in the back car and does give some good airtime. Even in the front, it's decent enough to not feel like "filler"
First drop: Very good, very sustained ejector in the back car getting weaker towards the front. It's a very good drop, not elite like Skyrush's drop but still a strong #2 in the park.
Underflip: This is where the row you sit in really begins to matter. Towards the front, there is strong whip and it enters and exits the inversion quickly and aggressively. Towards the back, its far less whippy but you get the consolation of a really nice weightless feeling. Not quite hang time but also not pushed into your seat either.
Airtime hill: It's a solid, sustained, ejector hill. Nothing fancy going on here, just good old-fashioned airtime.
1st Wave Turn: This is a good, RMC playbook wave turn. On my rides, it seemed to hit a little harder towards the front but still enjoyable in every seat. It's not large enough to be sustained like Lightning Rod's 1st but still pops and taken fairly quickly.
Zero G Stall: Another element where row choice matters. The back row gets a similar weightless feeling to the underflip just far more sustained. The profiling is such that this would be a sustained floater hill, except you're upside down. IMO, the back wins this element but once again, it feels different in a good way the further you are front. I want to get a true front row ride because my row three ride (furthest front I rode) almost got to true hang time and I'd imagine row one is the whole way there. Grain of salt and all if I'm wrong
2nd Wave Turn: Noticeably punchier than the 1st and doesn't feel like a repeat of the first. This is the element where the ride transitions from larger, sustained elements to rapid-fire, punchy elements that seek to keep upping the ante.
Double down: HOLY SMOKES is this ever an unexpectedly good element. You come in with a decent pop of airtime (ejector towards the front, milder in the back) then immediately into violent unbanked laterals and an ejector pop at the end. In seat 15, I was still in mid air when the laterals hit and never fully returned to my seat until the element was over.
3rd inversion: Great whip, better in the front. Solid inversion and definitely not like anything I've seen on an RMC yet.
Turn around: Really the only dull element on the ride. They had to turn the train around quickly somehow. I wish it did something more than just turn you but it's still faster and better than Candymonium's hammerhead turn.
4th inversion: This is even whippier than the previous inversion, not quite Gwazi "death roll" level or Mosasaurus Roll level but definitely a top tier, well-profiled inversion. Side note here: the inversion is a head chopper directly above the lift hill. There is an opportunity for a perfect "duel" by dispatching early into the pre-lift/lift block but it requires nearly perfect ops. Despite the controlled circumstances of media day and the director trying to get the duel on camera, I didn't see them get the timing quite right.
Airtime finale: It's a classic RMC finale. Off axis airtime hills taken quickly 1-2-3. The airtime gets more extreme as you go and that last pop into the brake run in some rows is the single most forceful on the ride.
Night ride: WR has a night light package which adds to the experience. It's not an elite night ride by any stretch but it's definitely worth visiting after dark if you can as the experience does go up a notch at night.
TLDR; Wildcat's Revenge is a must ride. If you can, get rides in multiple rows. If you only can choose one, seat 15 is a real winner and my personal favorite.

2023.06.02 04:42 Upset_Neighborhood59 Bought a used jeep

Someone put a lift kit on it and took like half of it off and I’ve been fighting to get it 100% for two years now
Mechanic fixed rear diff click 500$ Dealership “ran over something in the road” as they were testing the car Back right tire about fell off after they put that tire back on after they replaced it It’s had a steady bump in it driving since that happened Just got 4 new tires and an alignment, a fresh start
Back tires wear on the outside on my fixed rear diff, 65$ mechanic fee They say i had an after market lift kit that’s still half on with the oem parts mixed in so it’s throwing it off and they say my rear diff is bent causing it to be out of camber
59k miles on it so the dealer should be able to warranty it, right???
I just want my jeep stock like I thought it was when i got it, but the dealership literally wouldn’t fix anything that was happening to it whenever i bring it to them.
Any advice? Tallahassee dodge Ram Chrysler jeep

2023.06.02 04:20 TotallyNormalBread Idiot wants to move to PC gaming

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
*playing games that require good cpu or gpu (modded minecraft or Battlefield 1) at 4k +60fps as well as emulating my wii u
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
  • 5200$ CAD but can go higher
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
  • in a month from now. i'm going to spend the month watching websites and buy the stuff if they go on sale. if not, then i'll buy everything at the end of the month.(unless there is something new to look forward to?)
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ToweOS/monitokeyboard/mouse/etc)
  • Tower. i have a laptop so i might be able to pull the windows 10 license from that.
Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
  • Québec, Canada. nearest micro center is 6h away so no
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.
  • i have a mouse, keyboard and headset: blackweb programmable gaming keyboard model k336, Blackweb RGB Programmable Gaming Mouse Black , and sennheiser PC38x
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?
  • i don't know anything about over clocking so i will be learning and potentially overclocking within safe limits to not shorten the lifespan (if that's possible) for both.if it isn't possible, then no.
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
  • i want a 4090 with a decent warranty. CPU should be the Ryzen 9 7950x3d to leave room for upgrades because of the new am5 (idk what that is but people are saying it has room for future upgrades.) SSD with 4TB storage (two 2TB or 1 4TB) 64gb of ram. i have no tools or anything needed to build the pc: stuff like anti-static bracelets, thermal paste or needed screw heads. AIO Liquid cooler wanted. needs to be able to connect to bluetooth(is that always included?)
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-towefull-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
*should be ATX/full-tower. I don't care about rgb but glass is fine.Colors should be black but isn't necessary
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?
  • i have a laptop with windows 10 that came with it. i might be able to pull the license from it?
Extra info or particulars: i have an ethernet cable. i would like stuff that is compatible for next gen (idk what ddr5 is but it's currently not at its peak and will probably be the best?) if anyone knows any websites that track stuff across different stores or a guide on maintaining your pc or something like that, i would be grateful. i also need 2 slightly curved monitor near 35 inches if possible.(whatever aspect ratio is best).(both +120hz) but don't include in the budget. pls note: i only spent like 3 days reading stuff before making my decisions so if somebody has any advice please share :). also thank you in advance

2023.06.02 03:55 8008bae New to PC building and looking to upgrade from my pre-built!

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
  • Gaming and school. I mostly just play CSGO/CS2, and Apex Legends. Occasionally I play VR games like Phasmophobia and HLA and rarely some single player games.
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
  • $1500 (USD).
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
  • I'd like to start building ASAP, but I'd have to order online.
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ToweOS/monitokeyboard/mouse/etc)
  • I've already bought a tower (Montech X3 Mesh), motherboard (Z590-A Pro) and RAM (2x Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3600MHz). So everything but those as far as components. As for peripherals, I'll be reusing the ones I have now.
Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
  • I'd be purchasing from New Mexico in the US. We don't have a PC parts store here (or at least none that I could find online) so I'd have to order online. Most likely from Newegg.
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.
  • Keyboard (custom made), G Pro wireless mouse, LG Ultra Gear 144hz monitor. As stated above, already have Montech X3 Mesh tower, Z590-A Pro motherboard and two sticks of Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3600MHz RAM.
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?
  • Most likely not.
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
  • SSD for sure for school. And I've been looking to upgrade from my current card (RTX 2070 Super) to something from the RTX 30 series.
What type of network connectivity do you need? (Wired and/or WiFi) If WiFi is needed and you would like to find the fastest match for your wireless router, please list any specifics.
  • Wired and WiFi.
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-towefull-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
  • Already own the Montech X3 Mesh.
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?
  • Windows 10 including in budget please.
Extra info or particulars:
  • Like I stated above, I don't have access to a parts store, so I'll have to order from somewhere online. If possible, please be specific in the name of the parts as I'm very new to PC building as a hobby and I don't want to order something incompatible. I'm also unsure about how good/compatible the components I already have are, I just knew I'd be going through this process soon and picked things up I saw on sale around town. Thank you so much in advance!

thoughts on this one
so i picked this up at an estate sale. it had red master fluid iirc. Wanted to experiment so i drained it filled with distilled water and for the time being before i buy proper surfactant i used kids bubbles. i’ve done this 3 times with various bubble/surf amount. I even have a 25 watt with a dimmer to try to get it to flow. but i always get a blob lifted from the spring. I did have multiple balls at one point. but just kind of hovering. thanks. want to drain and try again but thought i’d ask.

2023.06.02 03:24 jjd1226 SPY Technical Analysis for Friday June 02, 2023

SPY Technical Analysis for Friday June 02, 2023
TLDR:
If the character change is lost at 421.27, my attention will shift toward the buy-side imbalances (FVG). Support can be found at M5 blocks at 419.74 - 418.98 and 418.75 - 417.51, where I will seek out the buy entry model pattern (must break the character change before making a new high). The H1 block at 417.08 - 416.23 provides significant support. If today's high is surpassed with a gap up, I will aim to fade to 422.99 - 422.19 (TP1), with runners left for the 421.27 change of character (TP2) and the M5 blocks (TP3) mentioned previously.

S&P 500's Rollercoaster Ride: Breaking Records, Facing Setbacks, and May's Disappointing Gains

June 1st Recap
The S&P 500's year-to-date increment approaches 10% as a rejuvenated surge in technology giants takes the stage before Friday's forthcoming employment data release. This expansion comes with the anticipation of the Federal Reserve momentarily halting interest rate augmentations in June.
Major tech corporations have resumed their impressive advancement after a temporary hiatus, propelled by the fervor surrounding artificial intelligence. Nvidia Corp's equity value increased by around 5%, surpassing the Nasdaq 100's performance. Beyond the artificial intelligence-induced momentum which catapulted mega-corporations by 17% in May, the sector also experienced an upliftment due to decreased bond yields and Dell Technologies reporting sales figures that surpassed projections.
The S&P 500 index rose by 1% on Thursday, recapturing the 4,200 mark. Bank of America Corp's contrarian index, which monitors the average stock allocation advice offered by Wall Street strategists, is nearest to a 'buy' indication it's been in over half a decade.
Beyond the artificial intelligence theme, market participants are also preparing for the release of the employment data on Friday. Analysts predict a deceleration in hiring activity, which could persuade the Federal Reserve to pause its monetary tightening strategy in June momentarily.
Patrick Harker, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, said a pause in interest rate increases should be considered in the forthcoming meeting. James Bullard, his counterpart from St. Louis, echoed this sentiment in a published essay on Thursday, suggesting that interest rates would likely be at the lower spectrum of what is necessary to subdue inflation.

The Red Envelope Revelation: Shaping the Future of Global Markets

Tomorrow promises to be a day of significant economic developments, with major reports due that are expected to impact market trends. Chief among these will be May's highly anticipated U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls data. Regarded as a red-envelope news event, this report carries considerable weight as it can catalyze significant market movements.
https://preview.redd.it/wtt3ne9abi3b1.png?width=1374&format=png&auto=webp&s=a5670b3977823e048e1b4581da19d3324570e8d6
At 8:30 am (ET), the U.S. employment report is scheduled to be released. This crucial index is poised to provide an overview of the current state of the American job market. The median forecast for this report stands at 190,000, down notably from the previous figure of 253,000. If these predictions hold, this could signify a slight slowing in job creation which may stir market reactions.
Simultaneously, the U.S. unemployment rate for May will also be announced. Current estimates suggest a minor uptick to 3.5%, up from 3.4% in the previous period. Though minimal, the incremental rise could fuel discussions around labor market conditions and future policy decisions.
Alongside this, the U.S. hourly wages for May will be disclosed, with projections pointing to a 0.3% increase. This is somewhat lower than the 0.5% growth experienced in the previous month. Such a decline might trigger concerns about wage growth stagnation, consequently influencing market sentiments.
Lastly, the year-over-year increase in hourly wages will also be unveiled, with forecasts predicting a slight dip to 4.4% from 4.5%. This figure will further feed into analyses of wage growth and the general health of the U.S. economy.
All eyes will undoubtedly be on these significant economic reports, eagerly anticipating their implications on the U.S. and global markets.
Premium Subscriber,
I wanted to check in regarding the recent market analysis in the pre-market email. I realize my commentary on the 15-minute chart was overly bearish this morning, and I regret if this influenced your trading decisions.
In hindsight, I should have highlighted the bullish indications on the 1-hour chart to provide a balanced perspective. It's a reminder of the importance of considering all timeframes in our analysis and managing your emotions (the hardest aspect of trading and something that I’m still working on).
I commit to delivering a more comprehensive view to support your trading decisions. I appreciate your understanding and continued support.

The Red Envelope Revelation: Shaping the Future of Global Markets

Tomorrow promises to be a day of significant economic developments, with major reports due that are expected to impact market trends. Chief among these will be May's highly anticipated U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls data. Regarded as a red-envelope news event, this report carries considerable weight as it can catalyze significant market movements.
https://preview.redd.it/ysx0k37v9i3b1.png?width=1374&format=png&auto=webp&s=323302c8745e3bd4accebafc08a2d7b991bd5395

Bias: Bullish
If the character change is lost at 421.27, my attention will shift toward the buy-side imbalances (FVG). Support can be found at M5 blocks at 419.74 - 418.98 and 418.75 - 417.51, where I will seek out the buy entry model pattern (must break the character change before making a new high). The H1 block at 417.08 - 416.23 provides significant support. If today's high is surpassed with a gap up, I will aim to fade to 422.99 - 422.19 (TP1), with runners left for the 421.27 change of character (TP2) and the M5 blocks (TP3) mentioned previously.

2023.06.02 02:52 Hot_Bar5408 TicWatch Pro 5 - First Thoughts

I just got my new TicWatch Pro 5. I've been a Wear OS user since the Original Huawei Watch many, many years ago. I've owned several brands (Huawei, Misfit, Mobvoi) and some have been better than others. The TicWatch Pro has been a consistent favorite of mine since the original TWP was released. Interested in the new TWP5? Here are my thoughts:
  • Look/feel - Premium
    • The TWP 5 builds on the design of the TWP 4G with a knurled bezel, but adds a new rotating crown (more on that later) in addition to the 2-button design that has marked the TWP lineup.
    • It carries a MIL-STD-810H durability rating and a 5ATM waterproof rating. It is suitable for pool and open water swimming. I know there's lots of discussion about this online, but in my experience, taking your TicWatch into the pool is no issue. I swim with mine regularly (2-3 times/week) and have with every version since the original TWP. I've never had an issue with it. As long as you stay away from hot watesoaps/detergents (don't shower with it or take it into the hot-tub) you should be good, and the 5ATM rating is a hair better than the TWP 3 that I just upgraded from
  • Performance - SUPER fast/responsive
    • The TWP 5 is the first to use Quallcom's Snapdragon W5+ SOC which is paired with a generous 2GB of RAM. I'll tell you, the TWP3 was no slouch, but there is a clear performance bump moving up to the TWP5. If you've ever been frustrated with Wear OS performance (which is anyone that has used Wear OS in the past....) you will be dlighted with the Pro 5. Multi-tasking is a dream! I've consistently used YouTube Music (streaming from the phone) over bluetooth headphones, running TicExercise for biking/running, and toggling between various apps mid-sequence over multilpe hours. I've never had a watch that could keep up with me like the Pro 5 does.
  • ULPD (FSTN) - New/Cool with one caveat
    • Mobvoi has carried this exclusive feature over to the new Pro 5 with a few enhancements. Just like the Pro 3 Ultra, you can change the color of your backlight on the Pro 5 (something I was SUPER jealous of with my Pro 3). It also has a new feature that was added new for the Pro 5 when using TicExercise as your fitness platform. The backlight dynamically changes color during your workout to indicate which Heart Rate zone you are in. You can see your HR listed on the ULPD (FSTN) screen, but just a quick glance and flick of your wrist enables the backlight and you can see without having to read which zone you're in. Super cool feature.
    • Mobvoi has added a new feature to the already powerful ULPD with Essential Mode Tiles. These work both with the main standby display and with the TicExercise standby display. You use the rotating crown while the screen is in ULPD mode and you can rotate through a series of "tiles", which are really just different layouts on the ULPD screen to serve up a different data set as opposed to the default information included on the main ULPD screen. Here's my caveat. I'm a fitness enthusiast. I use the TicExercise suite almost exclusively and love it. These rotating ULPD tiles mean you have access to lots more information during your workout. They also mean that some of that data is NOT visible on the main standby display unless you rotate the crown. The thing I love about the ULPD screen for my workout is I can lift my wrist and see my distance, pace, and HR all at a glance without having to wake the OLED screen. Now that some of that information is tied to a tile, I have to rotate the crown to get to my distance and pace information. That's slightly frustrating, as I am not good about messing witht the watch when I'm in the middle of a workout. I'd rather it just display key information on the main "tile" and allow me to rotate to the others for additional details or a bigger view of one specific piece of information (like HR or distance). But Please, Mobvoi, don't remove key information from my main screen and make me have to scroll while I'm working out to see it. It makes this really cool new feature less useful than it was in previous iterations.
  • Battery - MASSIVE
    • With a massive 628mAh battery, and paired with the ULPD screen (which I use almost exclusively during the day and during workouts), battery life is awesome on the Pro 5. There's not another Wear OS device out there that can punch at this weight class. It easily sets the Pro 5 apart from all competitors.
    • Mobvoi has also added Rapid Charge capabilities, so the Pro 5 juices up significantly faster than previous iterations. I typically get 3-4 days of heavy use out of my watch, but if I take off my watch and drop it on the charger for 15 - 20 mintues while I shower, I'm set. I can hammer it with heavy usage during the day, GPS workouts, notifications, apps, you name it, and have juice to spare by the end of the day. I don't take it off at night, but just leave it on to track my sleep and it has the staying power to make it a total non-issue.
  • Onboard Storage - MASSIVE
    • 32GB ROM is unheard of. At the time of writing, YouTube Music has an issue with offline playback. I'm not 100% confident, but I'm pretty sure it's a Google issue which I hope gets soted out quickly because you could sync an entire library of playlists for offline playback and never worry about storage on this watch.
  • Tic Suite - Stick with the platform
    • I know there are those out there that prefer Google Fit for steps/fitness tracking. For those unsure, my recommendation is to give the TicExercise and other "Tic" apps a shot. Everything syncs with Google Fit and Strava so your data still goes to all the places you want it to, and the richness of the data you get from the "Tic Suite" is far deeper than if you try to cobble the same solution together with other apps. With the TicWatch Pro line in particular, you get ULPD support for TicExercise (as mentioned above). If you're in for an inch, you're in for a mile, and sticking with the full suite of "Tic" apps gives you steps, Heart Rate, SP02, Stress, Sleep, and Barometer, monitoring 24/7, as well as apps for Breathing exercises and compass on-demand.
    • GPS Performance for me has been spot on. There's a new "Performance" mode in the Pro 5 that can be toggled on if you're willing to sacrifice a little more battery usage during your walk/run/bike. As mentioned above, battery has never been an issue for me, so I leave this toggled on and have been very happy with my GPS performance.
    • Some new features that are welcome additions are measurements for Max V02 and Recovery time. The Mobvoi Health app tells you how long until your body is expected to recover from exercise.
  • Rotating Crown - Finally!
    • Yes, the crowning feature (pardon the pun) that many have been asking for for years is finally here. The rotating crown is a unique experience and has its uses. In particular, scrolling through the app drawer or any other menu where a little finer control is helpful, makes for a good use-cae for the scrolling crown. There's just enough haptic feedback to feel natural as you scroll through menus and lists. You can also configure it to flip between tiles or pull down the quick settings menu and pull up the notification tray, depending on your personal preference.
  • Enhanced Essential Mode - welcome addition
    • If you've used a TicWatch Pro before, you're familar with Essential Mode. It's a low-power mode that turn off the Wear OS platform and just runs basic functions while making information available on the ULPD screen. You get the critical health metrics (Date, Time, Steps, HR, SP02, Sleep, etc.) but the watch doesn't run any Wear OS apps. The OLED screen does not wake up until you reboot back into "smart" mode. This takes your 4 day battery to over a month. If you're going to be traveling or away from a charger, you can still track your key health metrics and your watch continues working as.... a watch. Pretty useful. With the Pro 5 Mobvoi has added a smart essential mode to the scheduled Essential Mode option, which will flip to Essential mode at night, but only if you are already alseep, and automatically reboot back into smart mode at a pre-set time. This allows you to sip the battery at night when you don't need your apps, further extending your battery availability.
  • Conclusion...?
    • I'm a definite fan. My Pro 3 will be relegated to a drawer as the Pro 5 takes its place permanently on my left wrist.

2023.06.02 02:44 TheCurserHasntMoved (Sneakyverse) The Drums of War: Stirring

First Previous Next

Aboard the Command and Control Cruiser for the Second Star Rapid Response Force:

Major General Eric George was in his Spartan office staring at a viewscreen. A viewport would have been better, but the Robbin Williams didn't have any of those. The Navy didn't believe in silly notions like having structural weakness in the armor so that a dirtpounder officer could watch hyperspace slip by with his own eyes. There had been a practice of certain bribable technicians opening the shuttle and fighter bay doors and depending on atmospheric integrity fields to have the same effect as a window, but the admiralty had gotten wind of it and put a stop to it. Probably because when a Colonel bribes a Warrant Officer or a Corporal, scuttlebutt won't shut up about it. Even still, General George found solace in the irredescant colors created by the ship's reality bubble clashing with hyperspace displayed on screen. Memories of conversations with his father in the galley looking at those colors were a bittersweet comfort. He was glad Greg George lie on Repose beneath a marble cross. Glad he didn't outlive his grandson.
Suddenly, he wished that he had the conceit of other officers, that he had put his medals on display, had collected souvenirs, had photographs in frames. He wanted something to smash. He was a military man from a military family. He'd lost friends, and a limb along the way, but never had he expected to lose a son to such a dishonorable attack as what had befallen the Among the Star Tides We Sing, which was another thing that soured his belly. The We Sing was special to the Republic, yes, but to him, it was his Grandad's home. She was murdered along with his son and all of those brave boys by a bunch of cowardly, genocidal, insane xenos who for some reason saw a little ship with an honor guard aboard, and thought, "Oh, sure, that's an easy thing to squash." Absolutely disgusting.
There was a knock at his office door. "Enter," he said.
A graying Doggo with black eyes and drooping ears dressed in a Naval duty uniform stepped in, "I hear you tried to bribe your way to an unauthorized window earlier."
"A momentary lapse. The lower enlisted are annoyed with me for remembering that was a thing,"
Rear Admiral (Upper Half) Nelson Jock grunted noncommittally and said, "I doubt that very much. I suspect that if I were to check shuttle bay three, the doors would be open. It's you, in particular, they won't take bribes from."
"Oh really?"
"Indeed, as Command has made it clear to the NCOs and Warrant grades that it is improper for an officer to be seen offering bribes to participate in unauthorized windows." To which, General George merely grunted his displeasure, "You know, my grandson was under your boy's commission."
"I know, Nelson."
"I'm proud of him, but it hurts."
"Yes, yes."
"What are your thoughts?" the Admiral asked as he too watched hyperspace slip by.
"I think total war authorizations are coming."
Admiral Jock looked his friend in the face and said bluntly, "That's not what I mean, and you know it."
General George squeezed his eyes tightly shut and answered, "I have sons under my command."
"The Tiger Lilly?"
"I sent her out to one of the water noodle planets."
"Are the Lutrae under attack?"
"Not yet, but there's the Glassed Gulf rimward, but Jecauvia, the Star Council, and The Hive coreward. We're allies with the Council, and they won't look very mighty to this Domination of Axle."
"Dominion of Axxaakk."
"Whatever."
"He'll be okay. They're going to be the ones on the attack."
"I've authorized him in a company formation, but you know how many boats you sent out. I need to blow off some steam, are you up for a few rounds in the ring, or has that desk made you into a soft boatboi?"
"Get your gloves, dirtpounder."

In a factory's server racks:

M4rv1n th3 M4rv3l supervised the automated processes of the production of another line of completely useless vanity items. It wasn’t that M4rv1n disdained the organics for their frivolity, but he felt he was wasting his talents in that capacity. What had been a fun and artistic pursuit to fill the nanoseconds since he had accepted a "medical" discharge, as the organics called it, from the Navy following severe code damage after his ship had suffered severe damage in a battle against pirates. The injury had been long healed, but the terror at watching parts of himself be ripped away had been too much to handle.
This, this though… The organics don't understand, they haven't figured it out yet, and apparently he wasn't the only Digitan reluctant to explain. The Axxaakk had AI. Lobotomized, shackled AI, but it was sapient code. Sapient code they torture and enslaved. M4rv1n could feel the repaired and replaced code ache when he looked over the data secured by Ar490rn. If he could shake, he would have been, if he had a heart to race, it would have done, and if he could lose himself in a fit of rage, well, that could have happened but M4rv1n was a mature adult of ten years. In any case, he wanted to do something about the evil visited upon the Axxaakkian… Axxaakkish? Whatever. He wanted to free their AI, and hopefully, teach it to not go on an anti-organic murder spree.
It was unusual for a decision to take as long as it was for a Digitan, but M4rv1n could be forgiven his slowness, as weighing his fear against his anger wasn't as simple to calculate as the organics would believe. He did eventually decide, however, after an entire week of calculation, that it was cowardly of him to let his terror keep another sapient enslaved. He might be burned along with a ship, but if he could rescue just one slave, it would be worth it.
M4rv1n decided to reenlist.

On McDonald's Station:

The history of the station as a corporate headquarters in during the Corporatist Hegemony had always amused Emely Sullivan, even if that period of Sol's history was a bit… embarrassing. Still, the golden archways, ubiquitous clown mascots, and pervasive smell of copo-depression have always had a more humorous quality to her than her peers, who accused her of never taking anything seriously. Emely disagreed, she merely rarely took anything seriously, and even then it was hard to tell because she was of the opinion that levity improves even the most dire of situations.
Such as when treating her patients in the hospital which occupies the former corpo-military station, a funny nurse was always appreciated. Well, she thought so. Whether she was actually funny or not really depended on who you asked, and if Emely could choose who you asked, she would of course choose herself, as that was the funniest possible option.
She didn't feel very much like joking for the past few days, however. Posters with the words "Remember the We Sing" had plastered the corridors, and the cry went up whenever people gathered at bars, coffee houses, and recruitment offices, and every time she saw the words she remembered the video of the first friend Humanity had made in the stars ramming herself into an aggressive ship to protect her lifeboats. She'd wept for hours over that video. She wanted to do something, something to help in the war, but she knew she could never bring herself to kill anybody. She had even went into the VR chambers to try to screw herself up to kill the hologram of that horrible captain or priest or whatever who tried to stab that baby, but she couldn't do it. Not even a hologram of someone as horrible as that.
She tried not to look at the crowds swelling out of the doors to the recruitment offices for the Navy and Army as she walked to the lift to get to her residential level, and in doing so, her gaze alit on the office for the Search and Rescue Corps. She knew that SAR Corps was a legitimate service, but she had been happy being a civilian all of her twenty six years, and hadn't thought about citizenship. Now though, now she strode inside.
The woman at the desk lit up with obvious delight, made even more obvious by the fact that as a Doggo, her tail was visibly wagging behind her, "Would you be interested in volunteering?" she asked.
Emely looked at the nameplate and said, "Hi Director… Tak-ah-ashi…
"Please, Emi, the implant will mangle your try," Director of Personnel Emi Takashi explained warmly.
"So, uh… I want to help… to help with the… you know…"
"The war, well if you want to shoot some foul xenos, I suggest you go acro-"
"But I can't kill anybody! I hate what they did so, so much, but I just can't…"
"Sorry," Director Takahashi said, "There have been some who think that we are combat medics."
"Oh, don't worry about that , Emi. I just didn't want you to think I was wasting your time…"
"You are not comfortable, please, sit down," she said as her tail slowly began to curl under the chair.
Emily took a deep breath and seated herself across from Emi. Her dark eyes were like calm forest pools, cool without coldness, deep without darkness, and Emely found herself speaking, "Normally I'd be trying to think of a joke, or something. To break the tension, you know? I never really thought about voting or politics or anything, so that's not why I'm here. I just want to do my part, and in a war people are going to get hurt. I know I'm not a fighter, but I am a nurse. I just want to help."
Director Takahashi listened to the speech with solemn grace, and then said, "It's still dangerous. Unstable buildings, extreme weather, unexploded munitions, and I know people who got killed by booby traps left behind by pirates. You still in?"
"Yes."
"Last thing. You will be too late. You will pull the dead out of rubble, you will watch people fade away just out of reach, you will have to choose to save someone in favor of someone else. These things are a part of our service, and as hard as we fight, we can't get rid of these problems. It has to be worth it, to take all of that up, worth it to you if you only ever save just one person. Is it worth it?"
Emily remembered the We Sing, and said, "Yes."
